Hey all plumb types... I am a general handyman that has been doing plumbing for forty years off and on. In the early eighties I replumbed my entire house in New York getting rid of cast iron and galvanized in favor of PVC and copper. Went very smoothly. Since 1997 I have had a handyman business and help home owners with a multitude of problems. My favorite goto is now Pex with the copper bands, have not tried Pex-A but who knows. I got into using Pex because my house it plumbed with polybutylene with copper fittings which is no longer as you all know. I had to replumb my outside faucets so they did not go thru the water softener that I had installed.
