If it's steaming up your apartment there is something wrong,probably a condition were mold will starting you have record of calls, or contact to your landlord and they are a no show/no contact it's probably time to get the board of health or inspectional service's involved not something you should wait on
Call the police or fire department. They will solve it for you.
Please don’t waste the police and firefighters time, they have a lot of better things to do

I put a fan in the bathroom window to blow the heat out. I agree this would probably create problems with mold. Thanks for the input!
I disagree with wasting the police or fire department's time. I was a police officer for 25 years, and we have records of every landlord. Maybe the police could contact an owner to determine if someone is dead inside, or causing hundreds of thousands of property being destroyed.
