Since you have 10gpm and city water is in the vicinity of 13 gpm, you may have to fine tune your sprinkler heads by changing nozzles in the heads to smaller sizes in order to get the coverage you need. Then again you may find it works great out of the box. The only way you will know is to hook the pump up and give it a whirl.

A 1/2HP pump can easily boost the 35 PSI from the city line to 60 PSI. But when you switch over to pumping from a well, you no longer have the 35 PSI coming. Now you have to boost the entire 60 PSI plus draw the water up from 15'or so. You are going to need a bigger pump.

Like Speed says, figure out how many GPM's the sprinkler system needs, then you can size a pump.
