I am connecting a mobile home propane line to a LP line and have one 3/4 NPTF adaptor that will seal with a flare flex pipe. I have bought two others that either do not seal or the thread is incorrect. Spent hours on the net trying to find specifications for different types of 45 degree flares with zip luck. Maybe someone here can explain the differences in ordering or specs. I have attached a photo with labels. Number 1 is what I need and does seal. Number 2 thread is the same as number 1 but the thread is too short for the flare to seal. Number 3 thread is just wrong- too small. All are supposedly 3/4NTP to 3/4 flare. I measured #3 and it appears to be a SAE 3/4 flare fitting.

The flares for the larger flex lines are different.

Appliance connector can be 15/16-16 flare fitting.

Thanks "T"
I measured the threads and did get 16 but the thread was much larger than 15/16. Closer to 1-1/8. Same thread in flare 1&2.
