I have a Mastercool ADA7100 cooler and had to replace its recirculating pump with a Dial 8500 after 5 seasons. That was 5 years ago and I need to replace the pump again. These pumps all cost between $30 and $125 and they all look pretty much the same, just with different labels. None of them, IMO, are worth more than $20-$30 ( remember when they only cost between $7 and $10) . There is no useful info on the internet regarding actual life span, materials used, etc. and according to the reviews, the more expensive pumps aren't any better than the cheaper ones.
Oh, and I live in a steep-roofed, 2-story house so which ever pump I buy it will cost me $80 for somebody to climb up and install it.
In your opinion, which pump would provide the best service for around $50?
