Moen Shower Valve

I changed out the cartridge 1222 in Moen shower valve. After reassembly, the handle seems very lose or wobbly. I tried to tighten the set screw, which did not help.I am attaching some pictures during dis-assembly. I would appreciate if someone can point out what other things I should try.

You are putting the black piece on the cartridge first and then trying the handle? The one picture might show it
but I can't tell. Make sure your set screw goes into the plastic threads real good before you put the handle on.

You were so right. I took the handle off and screwed in the set screw tightly. It was loose. Everything is good now. Thanks.
