I bought 2. One of was T215BN and the other was Moen T8375NHCBN Commercial M-DURA PosiTemp. Maybe I shouldn't have got the PosiTemp?

no, you have an old moentrol model. TL473 that's a lever handle one for that model.

Yeah, op was told by multiple people that PosiTemp trim wont work. The TL47X trim will fit without the Moentrol adapter.
