I help maintain a number of properties and one building has Moen push pull shower faucets. The tenants all have problems pulling to turn it on and I replace and lubricate the cartridges often. One problem that we keep running into is the clear plastic thing that goes between the handle and the cartridge. They keep breaking. I cannot seem to find any at the local plumbing supply or the hardware stores. I would attempt to try to find them online, but I have no clue what it is actually called.

I guess that is my question, what are they called? Does anyone know if there is a direct replacement that might hold up to being turned without breaking?

I've been in the maintenance field for almost two decades, but I have always did my best to stay away from brand name products.

I had a broken one in my shirt pocket, but I must've lost it. I will if I can find one tomorrow

Here's one.

That’s most likely part of the handle that’s not sold separately.

Do you have a picture of the handle or the entire faucet ?
