i am up to design-=build a new 5-unit multi family apartm. In los angeles

with total of 75 fu at the meter
with available pressure after deducting all resistive factor: Appx. 50 psi

is 1-1/2" cws good enuogh????

If you are building a commercial building, you should know the basic rules. Commercial construction such as this requires a master plumber to plan and install the plumbing. You will not get the answers you need on a DIY forum.
