we have this Am Stand shower body.
The 2nd floor shower pressure seems down as compared to 2nd floor bath faucet and other shower on the 1st floor, though I haven't measured. It definitely feels as if it has drifted down over time.
Could the pressure balance have other issues (other than the fact it's an Am Stand) that would make the pressure drop off, even though it is made for "hard" water (which ours isn't)?
I checked for stones in the shower elbow and head, and cleaned the head.
Does this part just fail every 5 years?
