lost pressure downstream

i recent rerouted H and C lines in a bar area. i replaced the valves. downstream water pressure has dropped (Upstairs) the lines are in the basement. no leaks. the only difference btwn what i did and the previous connections was a U shape prior to the valve where the lines turned upward before the valve. i now have them horizontal... could this be the issue? or maybe issues with the shutoffs i turned during the job? tanks - confused

If you had the main shut off during all of this, you may have loosened up some trash in the lines. Take off your aerators and shower heads, flush them and see of that helps.
