Hi, I have a bathroom addition ongoing and the contractor said that I need to have a 2" connection for this linear drain. The outlet on the drain is 1 1/2 inches and not set up for a flange. The contractor showed me this flange that it needs to connect to (pic 3). I'm thinking that the opening in the drain can be enlarged with a hole saw (the pics are a little misleading; the trough is wider than it appears with respect to the hole), but I don't know the parts that might be used to connect to the flange. The color is spot-on, so I'd like to use this drain if possible. Any ideas?

That drain is used with a shower floor liner and for tile I believe. It has been a while since i did any new house work. You may want to look up how drains are connected to linear shower drains
