Hi All, I have a leak under the faucet as shown in the pic. Do I cut it where I have marked as a cutting point? The only problem I see is when I try to connect a new pipe, the clearance may not be enough to insert a new pipe into a new coupling. Any advice would greatly appreciatedGarden Hose Feed.png

It’s just regular 3/4 inch pvc pipe.

If there is movement in the copper pipe above, it will be a relatively easy fix. If not, you will probably have to dig up the PVC pipe that goes underground to the extent that you will be able to push it downward about an inch. That will allow you to make a glue joint connection on the new coupling.

And yes, I would cut it where you have it marked.

Thanks phishfood. That is exactly what the guy at Lowe's told me today. I went there to see if they had a miracle product that I could use to seal this slow drip. But he set me straight.
