Looking for a bottom rail for a KohlerPetico #704128-SHAA. Someone tried cleaning it with toile bowl clean and took the finish off it, now it is black from this.
I went to Kohlers web site but it is discontinued .

Is there a generic replacement that i could replace this one with? Or any other suggestions ?tempImage5VFuoo.jpg

Do a search for "Sliding Shower Door Extrusions" and you should come up with a number of suppliers that may have something that will work, or can be adapted to work. Manufacturers of such things are Prime Line, Engineered Products (EPCO), Extrude-A-Trim, Richleau Glazing and more. Best to sketch out the extrusion profile and some dimensions.

The good news is that if you can salvage the piece--usually nylon or some other plastic--that's at the center (that guides both doors) you can probably find something to fit; just replace that plastic piece in the new track.

Alternatively, you could remove the doors, remove the bottom track, clean it all up, and yes, send it out for clear anodizing.
