I am trying to adjust the temperature (hotter) on my newly installed (April 2017) Kohler shower valve. I have looked at countless videos and instruction manuals, which all say to use an Allen wrench to turn a screw that adjusts how far the red plastic collar will turn.
My problem is that this assembly does not have a screw that can be adjusted. It has an orange plastic collar and I cannot just pull it off, adjust it and put it back on. Even the instruction manual that came with the hardware shows a picture of the red collar and adjustable screw from the previous generation.
There are very few if any mentions of this type of setup that I have found anywhere on the internet, including the Kohler website. Trying to do this myself so I do not have to call a plumber.
Thank you!
