have you tried to tighten the nut …..under it is a plastic or rubber washer that could be worn out if tightening it does not work there are a total of 3 washers 2 1 1/2 slip nut washers and 1 1/2 kitchen sink tail piece washer get all 3 before you start loosen the nut at the wall and the one under the trap see if comes apart if not you will have to loosen
the nut connected to the strainer.....replace all washer then re assemble

    unscrew the offending nut
on the other side of the trap, remove that nut also
put a bowl under the trap, drop the trap into the bowl
the offending nut....remove it, it should have a 1 1/2'' SJ plastic washer
    under the nut
    replace the washer
    reassemble the piping

you need a large pair of pliers
