Is this the proper place to drill through masonry for gas pipe termination? And conduit material?

Old gas pipe goes vertically through the foundiation perimiter beam and it cracked because the house settled, I had foundation work done and will be running a new gas line that meets code. Going to drill inside the red circles. Will be putting in a conduit. Is there any issue as far as drilling through the wood board as pictured? Also, what conduit material do y'all use? Pipe is black steel going from the riser into the house.

No issues with drilled hole in a supported joist like you show.
We stub out in galvanized pipe and never use a sleeve above grade. Galv. pipe is fine as long as it is 6" above soil.
