Hii,
My house was built in the 50’s and my kitchen sink usually clogs up once every couple of months. Usually I take a plunger to it and it’s fine but lately it is happening more frequently and the plunger isn’t working. I just tried to snake it with a 1/4inch auger and some black stuff came out (picture attached) but the line still doesn’t drain. I’m wondering if it’s time to bite the bullet and cut out the cast iron pipe or if I just need to snake it some more.
What do you think?
