We bought a home with a lovely cast iron claw-foot tub. My wife wants to replace the ugly faucet with a lovely 3 3/8"chrome and porcelain faucet.
There are 1/2" copper pipes coming out of the floor and everything is soldered. I'd prefer to use flexible hose when we install the new faucet -- which fittings do I need to use to connect between the 3/4" end of the faucet and the 1/2" copper pipe?

are you sure the faucet is 3/4" typical faucet connection is 1/2'' ips thread

can you please provide th faucet brand and model # ?

do you need a chrome 90 to turn down at the faucet to stop pipe from crimping ?

Can't get much easier then this one. You already got some shark bites in there so can remove those and replace with 1/2" pex connect pex to fixture with 1/2"x3/4" female adapter and your good to go, individual shutoffs in place so you won't even have to turn off the main supply to the house. If your not familiar with removing piping from a shark bite aka push to fit, fitting make a quick search on YouTube. They sell a special tool if you can call a plastic ring a tool anyway a good adjustable wrench will do the job.

Yes. The previous owners did a horribly shoddy job of just about every system in the house. Those decorate pipe fittings are a good idea.
