Wow—didn’t know this existed but boy—exactly what I needed to remove a broken PVC toilet flange in a remodel where they put drywall in the basement ceiling 😡. Access otherwise would have required removing drywall, a task I despise.

They are great. Just gotta make sure when you cut, you go in the right direction. I lost one in a stack one time. Came right out of the drill. Plop.
 
What I like about being an old-timer is knowing so much that I can stand up to an inspector and ask: "Is this the hill you want to die on?" when I know I am right about a code issue. Then win that argument and get the inspector transferred or busted down to answering phones.
Or in one case, brought in to the Mayor's office and dressed down.
