I’m thinking of going with a recirculating water system. Can I use more than one end valve?

I have a two story house, so I was thinking one valve at the far sink is good, but that won’t help up stairs. Is there any issues with adding one at the far upstairs sink for a total of two return valves?

The pump & gas water heater are in the garage.

Thanks in advance!

You will just have to try and see.
The differential flow in two branches can make it all work weird.
You know, you should expect very unpleasant hot water at the bridge/"end valve". So many customers ask us to remove the bridge.
The best solution if you don't have return piping, is to use a D'mand pushbutton wireless remote. That way you get hot water after you push the button and wait for it to arrive. No brushing teeth with hot water coming out of the cold tap.
Costs but is worth it.
Also with D'mand, since your piping is likely, not insulated, you aren't trying to heat all of the surrounding air in California when the pump is running all the time.
