Hi'
I have 20-unit new aopartment bldg in California'

Do I have to count some F.Us for Central hot water heater mounted on the roof in my hydrolic calc to determine the size of meter and main supply?????

if not needed , do you know why???

look on your approved mechanical drawings. or better yet, ask your job engineer.

plan does not explain why neither they can
they address me to different location like you......

If folks don't mind, I'd like to throw my two cents on this situation. I am neither a paid professional plumber, nor an engineer. I am just a handyman who makes sure this site is kept running in order to help people do simple jobs. These questions that Tamas is asking is far beyond the information anyone should be inquiring on a plumbing forum. I feel if he is attempting to manage and install such a plumbing feat, he should be referring to the requirements set forth by the plans designed by the engineers.

That is the reason I am not telling him. some jobs are DIY his is not.
he is seeking information that needs to be provided by a professional.

a paid professional, In my opinion, he is trying to circumvent the laws and codes of the jurisdiction in which he is working
