HVAC pro Phila to Florida have a Question

Sold my business moved to Florida..
Not sure but is this mixing valve done right?
No other home has this.. Checked the sample home, (same as ours), not there..
Appreciate any insight...

Shouldn't there at least be a check valve on the cold to prevent hot water from feeding thru up to the faucet?

There is most likely two check valves integral to the thermostatic valve.

One in the hot inlet and one in the cold.
