Just wondering if this faucet is serviceable? Usually you can just pull the stem out and replace the cartridge but with this one I don't see a way to get the rest out...thanks for any help!

That’s Moen.

Is that a Roman tub faucet ?

If it’s a Roman tub faucet you’ll need a Moen cartridge retaining nut removal tool for best results.

It may have a plastic internal cartridge retaining “ nut “

Or it might just pull out now…..I can’t tell and Moen has made so many changes that I can’t keep up.

It doesn’t have a washer, you replace the whole cartridge.

If it’s a Roman tub valve look at all the generations and changes they’ve made.

Where the faucet stem is down in the valve…..use some water to clean that hole out and a shop vac to suck that crap out. Then try to get a good pic of what’s left down in there.

Thread a screw into the cartridge and use a hammer claw to pry it out. Use something to protect the tub deck like I did with the abs pipe. IMG_2558.jpeg

Make sure the retaining nut that holds the cartridge in has been removed first....
