Paper decomposes in 2-4 weeks.

I think inside a sewer line, paper decomposes faster, am I right?

It's going to depend on the paper towel.

Have called bounty official line. The operator told me it takes 60 days for bounty paper towel to decompose in a compost pile.

I guess, precisely, my question is whether it takes shorter or longer for Bounty paper towel to decompose in a sewer line than in a compost file?

I think shorter. Because, in a sewer line, there are high humidity and poor air circulation, and both are necessary conditions for bacteria to multiply.

But do you think so?

Why wait? It's only going to cause problems sitting in there. Snake the line.

Thanks!

it is a bathroom i seldom use, snake may hurt the pipe.

Anybody hears a paper towel stay there for half a year still has ability to cause problems?
