Hot water not circulating ...

I'm new and need your help! Solar company took back the panels in foreclosure, I purchased the house, remove the water tank in garage and caped the two pipes. Turn out I stopped the hot water from flowing.

Reserve tank is gone and capped at F and G.

Can I assume the hot water is the left pipe on main tank? I was thinking to re-connect F to G, but should ask someone that knows what is going on. I don't know what is going with that cross connecting both pipes.

Do you mean E and H? E and F are the same pipe.

Why cross connect the Cold in and Hot out pipes?
