i am building a bathroom at some property and i am using 1/2" pvc. i cannot figure out what kind of thread the toilet fill line uses. it seems everything i get is the wrong thread. anyone know what kind of thread it is on the toilet fill line?

thanks

I'd recommend you open a Fluidmaster fill valve box and match the lower threads on it. I can't remember the exact size at the moment.

thanks, i meant to do that the first time. i will this time.

The thread on the fill valve is not a pipe thread. It is a running thread that uses a locknut.

A "running thread"? Any idea how I can get this connected to a pvc pipe? I don't care how or how many conversions I would have to do to get it ther, just some way is fine with me.

Thanks!

Ok, I will give that a shot. Didn't think about taking to that point. I was trying to figure out a fitting for straight to pvc.

This toilet is at the deer lease with no water so I am using barrels with a pump.

Thanks!
