Help!!! Toilet stop valve

This nipple is 3/8” ips. Just wanted to clear that up.

I may be nuts, but how many 3/8" pipes do you know of that have an ID of 1/2"?
Look at the pic with the tape measure. Does that look like 3/8"?

Yes, It looks like 3/8” to me.

1/2” ID.

The replacement is a 3/8” IPS nipple.

Look up the internal and outside diameter of a red brass 3/8” nipple. In fact it’s posted in this thread.
