Hello and good day. We recently removed our deck and found this pipe sticking up from the ground. It seems to be attached to the septic. We have had our septic pumped and inspected every 4 years and never have had any issues, but, this is the first time I have seen this pipe. Looks like the rodents seem to have made a home inside this pipe. Should I cap it or leave it as is?
At the time of the picture, I did notice that the ground was wet around the opening. This is the first time I have seem any water that looks to have originated from this pipe. Also note that there is no poopy smell coming from this pipe or that water.
