First off, I should say that I'm not a plumber, just someone who wants to fix a broken shower knob in my apartment. Problem is that I noticed that the shower knob connects to a stem that is hexagonal (see pictures) and I can't find a replacement knob that fits over that type of stem.
The shower is a one-knob system, where to turn on the water you push it up, and then left or right for hot or cold, respectively.
Can anybody please help identify what type of system this is and/or if there's a suitable replacement part?
