Hey Guys,

I'm attempting to identify what these plumbing pipes were intended for. This is the basement of my house built around 2002 over here in West Michigan. The first picture has 4.5" pipe and a 2" pipe which I assume is for the toilet and sink. The rough concrete patch I believe is for the shower.

But the measurements from the wall make me feel these pipes were intended for something else. Please let me know what you think.

Where I am truly puzzled is the 8" pipe in the second and third pictures. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

1st pic looks like a toilet and lav rough.
2nd pic has a sewer floor clean-out and a backwater valve
3rd pic shows a backwater valve

Ahh... A backwater valve. I've never seen one of these before. Thanks for your help!

The location of the pipes on the first picture just don't make sense. I assume the 4" pipe is for the toilet and the rough concrete is for a possible show drain. But I don't even think they're to code and that would make the world's smallest bathroom.
