Help identify this shower bonnet valve

Hi all, I'm trying to replace a leaky shower bonnet valve, but I can't identify the brand or make of the valve. Here's a pic:

Sorry, I can't help you with identification but if you take the valve to a local big box hardware store, you should have no problem matching it up. If you have already tried doing this and struck out, I would recommend waiting for a few of our experts to come in to this forum and hopefully you will have an answer shortly.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to Lowe's, and neither they nor I could id it using their catalog. They don't carry that size (size 8) anyway.

The valve is probly pretty old, maybe 20+ years. Previous owner did a pretty good job stripping the nut!

Hrm, it is similar to an American Standard 23-0033 or 23-0334 but both of those have a flare near the lower threads which yours is missing. Other than those two there is an old Kissinger cartridge that is very close to that but I have only seen it in chrome and brass, not all brass so....enh.

Found out that it's a Speakman. Thank you all for ur help tho.
