I am Daniel from North Carolina. I am a greenhorn and have some handyman/remodel/repair plumbing experience but looking to get away from **** show handyman job and start official apprenticeship this year to make it my career because I enjoy it most. Any advice on companies to start for service plumber or what to look out for when applying would be greatly appreciated. Was thinking about *starting* officially at roto-rooter, getting license and then going somewhere else. Thanks for letting me join yall!

Look for a place that will invest in you and train you. I am not a fan of Roto Rooter and there are many horror stories about them. Like Two said, look for a local mom and pop.

You need a company that does underground and back vents and finish work. Service work will do you no good
on a plumbing test.
