My house doesn’t have a foundation- just up on blocks- and when it gets below zero out my tubbtrap freezes. I’ve put antifreeze down the drain but it doesn’t help. It’s also wrapped with fiberglass insulation. Can heat tape be put on it?
 
Upstate NY. -10 degrees. Idk what the pipe is made of. I think it looks like white plastic.
 
I had some pex freeze a few nights ago.

It’s sacrificial hose Bibb runs about 3’ long each. They haven’t ruptured yet, they’ve frozen 4/5 times solid so far without problems. It’s about 10 yrs old.

It thaws out and keeps on truck’n
