hi,
A friend of mine, a plumber says that ,
for distributing gas to the 2-story, multi-unit apartment,
he can use flexible gas pipes throughout (all above the earth)

if this is thru,
where can I get some info about it , such as, sizing, types.....
????/

Thank you

Ask him which type he is going to use. That piping needs to be grounded unless he is using a certain type like Gastite Flash Shield. You generally have to upsize the piping depending on the length of the runs as the corrugated pipe effect volume.

Hi
I think his is trying to save money by not using solid pipe
Too much labor cost!!!

What do you think
Is this a good practice??
Is this common practice???

Thank you

Track pipe will save you money, where lots of turns are required, not in straight runs.
