I just installed a new kitchen sink... everything is fine except my single-handle faucet will only spin front-to-back, not side-to-side like it is supposed to. The hot and cold water function fine it is just I can spin the handle back for cold and front for hot. It should be right for cold and left for hot water. I am not sure why this is? Thank you.

Sounds like you need to readjust it or possibly flip it around.

Follow havasu's advice. It happens more often than you think, so don't feel badly about it. Unmount it and rotate the body 90 degrees until the handle and spout swing in the proper directions.

Caduceus is right..just do as he says and if you cannot do it yourself then take the help of some professionals.
