(sorry for repost, seems this is the more appropriate forum for a more general question).

Hi everyone. Remodeling bathroom and planning on painting a few fixtures to match. Also wanted to fix leaky hot water cartridge. In the past I haven't had issues removing cartridge from other faucets -- not the case this time. Not sure of brand of faucet but drain says Kohler. Guessing ~ 25 yrs old.

Trying to figure out the following:
- Is the cartridge removable or is this one piece?
- If removable, how? I've just about stripped the nut on the cartridge using and can't even get it to budge.
- What brand is this faucet? Where can I find replacement parts?

TIA

Your right that is a kohler the handle and bell escutions spin
off a 5/8 socket should have removed the stem well I did the same thing
years ago bring if to a plumbing supply house and you should
be good to go

you could alslouse a crescent wrench on the flat part
I pics 4,5 then try using a socket on the stem now that you
Have it out soak it in wd-40 or vinagar it might loosen things up

Thanks for response. All for naught as wife has decided she wants a new faucet anyway.
