Hi all. I hope you can help me. Previously there was a pedestal sink in place. Gone! I want to install a vanity and sink in place. Where do I start. Do I cut out the 90 and replace and come out the same way through the joist and another 90 out....... or do I replace the 90 and come out straight out the wall. I am concerned about centering as well drainage......may be better to come straight.

As for shut offs........I noticed they leak when opening and closing. They have been there for 20 years...........do I tighten to nut to press the seals or just replace them. If so do I solder new ones in or use shark bites. Thank you. Great site.

is the new sink going in the same spot ?

how far is the center of the new sink , away from the drain.

you best bet is to put the new sink in the same spot as the old sink.

those valves are soldered on ? bummer

go buy 2 new valves,,same name brand, take the guts out of the old and replace it with the new ;)
