Recently bought house and had some work done soon after moving in. The house was partially re-piped with CPVC (kitchen/laundry/basment bathroom) right before we purchased. 2 original bathrooms are still copper. We have a gas water heater and had the CPVC coming directly from that replaced with copper; however, due to the hot water heater being offset, the plumber had to pull some of the CPVC to get the new/existing pipe to meet. I have pictures included. Do you think the flex is adding too much stress to the CPVC or should the pipe be able to withstand that? The longer run is cold water line and the one meeting copper is hot.
