should i stake the pipe in place with something before i finish backfilling?

ok last one

is there any issue with coupling a couple 1/8 bends togther like this to form like an ogee offset?

why the offset ? an offset is a potential spot for a clog

code wise, nothing wrong at all,

did you start at the high end ? working tward the low ?

should have started at the low, and worked to the high

in post 21, the wye by the sawzall, that is for a future bathroom ?

what is the measurement from top of concrete to center of pipe ? looks high

easy to do, throw a board over the ditch and measure from board to center.

how far from that wye is the bathroom ?

i have to offset either way, to follow the old trench, its solid sandstone around it or i would dig

with the double, i have a better angle at the FD

yea i started from the stack to low

it saved my washtub in the basement and i hosed all the waste down the 4 foot piece of line i left downstream until today

i have a self leveling laser clamped on a piece of angle over the trench

yea its for bathroom , i was just going to put a short piece with a cap on it and worry about it after the summer

ill go measure

4 inches? to close?

the bathroom would be a few feet

was just gonna put it up against that backwall starting a few feet from the stack

just a stand up shower and a toilet

are you refferring to the stack as concrete pipe?

its actually painted CI , i cut it and went to pvc at the mission

its a foot from the wall

it starts at 4"depth , the wye is actually 5 , and im 8 feet out so far on the main, with a 2 inch fall

i can put the bathroom as close or far from pipe as i want/or leaves enough clearence to stack

its 8 inches plus the buried trap and 75 inches from the wall

im on a solid slab of rock above the trap

i had to put a pointed chisel on the macho hammer and chip away for an hour to have a place to sink the trap

im gonna go cut the wye out and couple a piece in there while i still have all the play

i redid it

thanks for catching that for me, this look ok?

no....sorry confused you

from what ever it is you are tieing into, what is the depth of that pipe from the floor to center line of pipe.

take that measurement. assume it is 10

now take the total footage of the pipe to the bathroom from the tie in

lets say it is 10'@ 1/4'' per ft all for 3'' pipe.= is 2.5''

at the bathroom center of pipe will be 10''- 7.5''

concrete is 3.5'' that leaves you 4''.. that aint enough using these numbers

Ok. I moved it to the last wye in the pic

It is seven inches from top center ti floor

About 7-8 feet from bathroom

7'' 1/8'' fall per ft x 8'=1'' so at bathroom you have 6'' top of concrete to center line

you got a 2 combo ? and a2'' 22.5degree bend ?

hold the22 on the combo, and roll the combo till the 22 is level

what is measurement centerline to top of rollled 22 ?
