This is a part for my boiler that got repaired last week... it's the aquastat that I was billed at $284.... If I were to go online and look at multiple sources for the same exact part it sells for about $160. Would I be wrong to bring that to their attention or is that just the way things go? Of course there was also an hour labor. Thanks

You paid an extra $124.00, that is called mark up
EVERY one charges you a markup, Looks like you paid a 45% markup. That is VERY common.

I charge a straight %50 mark up on every fitting, and fixtures
Thanks..... just learning and now I know.
