Corroded Stuck Tub Drain

hey Jess funny I knew immediately what you were talking about when you were asking for help! I had the same exact issue. I cannot believe how corroded my tub drain is I must have some crazy water wonder what that's doing the rest of my house!
Anyhow can you tell me about your cutting method used to get it out I to have an extraction tool but it's just not budging

Hey there! So it’s been a while but I kept cutting until I got nervous (see pics below) and then actually had a plumber out for another job and asked him to look at it. He said I had already done most of the work and popped it out easily somehow and didn’t charge me. So sorry I cant give you more specifics but evidently the tool does indeed work. Though I felt defeated at one point evidentially I was 99% of the way there!
