Corroded sink basin.

My sink has a corruded basin. How do I fix this withodut replacing anything? I attached pictures for context

If it is leaking, it can be serviced/tightened/resealed/redone to stop the leak. New washers etc.
If it is not leaking, it had in the past, but a little discoloration is nothing to be concerned about.

Easier to replace the whole thing while it is apart. It's like parting out a car. Individual parts could run as much if not more that the drain.
 
Here are the existing pictures, lightened up a bit.
The question was re: "a corroded basin".
I believe they may think that the separation of the strainer basket is part of the sink basin. Particularly with the sound deadening stuff sprayed on there.
