Hello all,
This is my first post so please forgive my lack of knowledge and terms.

I bough this faucet:
http://www.elizabethanclassics.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=713
It has 1" inlets

My current supply lines are 3/8 ips inlet and 3/8OD outlet

so i need to connect 3/8OD to 1"OD

same company sells supply lines that go with that faucet
http://www.elizabethanclassics.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId= 820
but those supply lines have 1/2 OD pipe

So if i install them then i need to connect 1/2OD to 3/8D.

what is the best way to connect everything?

I though about getting 3/8ips and 1/2 OD stop valves , but i cannot find them anywhere. So i wonder why all those supply lines are 1/2" OD?
If almost all stop valves are 3/8OD.

How would you deal with that?
Am I missing something here?

thx

What your missing is that faucet is for a legged tub and it attaches to the tub. It's not made to be installed on a wall. The lines in your link are made to connect to your faucet with the faucet mounted on the tub.

Sorry I misunderstood what you were trying to do. The 1" connections your talking about are not pipe threads. There for lock nuts that are used on the pigtails. You need the supply's that you have posted the link for. All you would need would be a 1/2 x 3/8" coupling to connect to your existing lines. Or if your looking for valves you need 1/2" thread stops with a 1/2 x 3/8" bushing into one side of the stop.

A pipe thread is tapered. The thread on the faucet isn't. The supply lines in your link are steel pipe. I would guess there brass. Also the valves you need are threaded. The ones your showing in this post are compression.
