I have a 1.25” OD brass pipe coming out of a concrete floor which I’m trying to tie a new claw foot tub drain into (see pic https://www.plumbingforums.com/media/drain-pipe.772/

). My local supply shop suggested a Fernco fitting ( https://www.zoro.com/fernco-flexible-connector-for-pipe-size-1-14-tc-150/i/G1565024/ ) to connect the new tail pipe into the existing drain, however, the Fernco fitting makes the height too high to connect the tub drain elbow compression fitting onto the compression tee. Do I have any other options for connecting my drain pipe into the waste line?

that looks like the best option.....I have worked on lots of claw foot tubs....if the drain is very old...it may be 1" 3/8 in diameter or 1" 1/2 I have never seen 1" 1/4 but anything is possible try an 1" 1/4 by 1" 1/4copper by copper mission coupling its much stronger than a fernco and they are not legal to use in some states show a bettr pic of what your trying to do also
I saw those valves you have threaded on...I would use ball valves in their place...they are much better
