I have an opportunity to start a plumbing apprenticeship with a company that installs pump stations and a very small amount of drainage. or with a company that specialise in all aspects of commercial and domestic plumbing, your opinions would be greatly appreciated on which company i should start with, and which side of plumbing would be most beneficial. thanks

Both are gonna be equally benificial, but I would go for the residential and commercial plumber you will gain slit of knowledge that can easily be transferred to another plumbing job if needed you will probably learn alot about pumps at that job too

The second will provide you with a much more rounded skill base. I spent 8 years exclusively in new construction apartment plumbing, and while I was really good at that, I had a lot to learn about commercial and service plumbing.

I would think that more specialized segments of an industry tend to pay a little better, but it also can be harder to find a job if you find yourself in need of one.
