Hi

I have a drip in my tub and thought I would change the cartridge, hoping that would stop the dripping. The unit is a single handle Gerber product. I'm able to remove the screw that holds the handle in but the handle a stills stuck.

Home Depot has a tool called a "Handle & Sleeve Puller". Is this safe product to use or can it cause additional problems? I'm guessing that the handle is sticking because of calcium buildup??????

Any other suggestions on how to remove the handle would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

Did you try it?
Post a picture.
If you don't have a camera, do an image search and pick one that looks like yours.

Sometimes it just takes brute force to get them off.
Rock it back and forth.
I have had to cut through them with a hacksaw.
