Can I use Apollo pex crimp fittings with Zurn pex pipe

I have Zurn pex in a wall and want to T off of it but I only have the Apollo brand crimping tool. Can I use Apollo fittings on the Zurn pex?

Is it a crimp ring tool or a pinch ring tool? I don't like the pinch rings myself.

Either way, CTS PEX is all the same size inside and out, so it will work. But neither company will warranty their fittings/pipe/rings if installed on another manufacturer's rings/fitting/pipe.

It's the crimp ring type. Thank you so much I figured the pex was the same but just wanted to ask someone who has more knowledge/experience than me. Thank you again.
