Can anyone identify what brand this is? We believe it is a European brand but not positive. It's stuck at a very hot temperature, warranty company sent a plumber who thought the cartridge was damaged. Does that require going behind the wall to fix? The plumber said he would have to bust out the tiles and gave a quote of two thousand. Seems a bit excessive. See picture. Thanks!

need to take trim plate and handles off. Often many common valves have a gazillion different trims.

If the plumber is going to replace that faucet cant he get to it from the back instead of opening from the front?

Tom, we weren’t trying to replace it (trying to avoid replacing it, really). It’s just stuck on a really hot temperature and the plumbing company we called said it would be helpful if we could identify the brand before they come out. They figured it out though. Some obscure Italian brand that they actually happen to have the parts for! Trying to avoid the first plumbers idea of busting through the back side which requires either going through the dining room wall or damaging the shower tile
