Need some help determining what might be causing black scum in my tub. This scum comes back 3 days after cleaning the tub out with comet. It looks like little kids have been stepping in the tub with filthy dirty feet and left the dirt behind. It looks pretty nasty.
Unlike dirt, the scum is pretty sticky and it only happens in this particular tub. We don't see any other weird sentiment in any other tub, sink, or toilet in the house. Our house is a 1928 home with old iron pipes feeding this particular shower. I'm wondering if this could be from the pipes or possibly the shower head. Anyone seen this before, or have any suggestions as to what it might be? I'm at a loss.
